Level 3 Certificate and Professional Diploma in Law and Practice
There are no formal entry requirements for either qualification. However, as the qualifications are at Level 3, CILEx does recommend that students embarking on a programme of study towards either qualification have a minimum of four GCSEs at grades C or above (including English Language or Literature) or equivalent qualifications.
Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice
You are advised to complete the CILEx Level 3 qualifications before progressing to the Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice.
Non-members taking the subjects from the Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice as Single Subject Certificates should have substantial experience in the sphere of law relevant to the their chosen subject or qualifications at GCE A level standard or above. Non-members who do not meet these criteria are encouraged to study the Level 3 qualifications before taking Single Subject Certificates to ensure they have the necessary underpinning knowledge and understanding.
