Exam Registration - online registration faq
Most information relating to CILEx Exams is available in the
Exam Regulations which can be found here.
However, below are answers to frequently asked questions. If
you have any other queries or require any other advice please
contact awards@cilex.org.uk or phone
+44(0)1234 845727.
(1) Selecting your accredited centre, examination venue and
examination unit
Candidates must select the correct accredited centre (your
course/learning provider), examination venue and examination unit
when entering examinations. Candidates must check their
acknowledgement emails received from CILEx immediately and contact
awards@cilex.org.uk
without delay if there are any queries regarding their entry.
No amendments will be made after the session closing date and
students will be unable to sit examinations or submit assessments
where incorrect information has been provided to CILEx.
(2) Multiple Qualifications and/or Multiple Course/Learning
Providers
Students enrolled at multiple centres (course/learning
providers) will need to register for each Centre seperately (i.e.
perform mutliple online registrations). Similarly students
registering for multiple qualifications e.g. CILEx Level 3 and
CILEx Level 6 in the same session, will need to register for each
Qualification seperately.
Registering to submit or sit an exam at a Centre at which you
are or have not been enrolled will invalidate your registration.
Candidates must check their acknowledgement emails immediately and
contact awards@cilex.org.uk if there are
any queries regarding their entry.
(3) Examination Fee Credits
The online registration system cannot be used if you need to
claim outstanding exam fee credits. Students who wish to redeem
outstanding credit must contact awards@cilex.org.uk for an offline
form. Offline forms are available for bulk bookings and credit
offsets.
(4) Examination Clashes
Students wishing to enter more than one examination scheduled at
the same time must be aware that examinations will be rescheduled
to take place back to back on the same day with minimal breaks.
Students will be supervised at all times. Students must be in a
position to accommodate any examination clashes and once
registered, no credits will be given where students are unable to
sit exams due to the clash.
(5) Online Service and Offline Support Availability
The Online Registration Service is available between the dates
and times indicated. Please note that for technical and
housekeeping purposes online services are not available between the
hours of 02:00 and 04:00 (GMT/BST) each day. CILEx
Office opening hours can be seen here. Telephone, email or other
direct support services are not available outside these hours.
(6) Completing the transaction - close your browser.
When you have completed an Online Registration you should
receive email confirming the success (or not) of the registration
process. Candidates who have successfully completed the process
should also receive a payment receipt email from Worldpay.
Candidates must check their acknowledgement and payment emails
received from CILEx or Worldpay
immediately and contact awards@cilex.org.uk without delay
if there are any queries regarding their entry.
After completing a registration candidate must
close their browser completely. Should additional
registrations be required (e.g. as described in (2) above),
candidates should start a new and fresh instance of their web
browser.
