Stage 1: Level 3 Certificate & Professional
Diploma in Law and Practice
The level 3 range of qualifications are set at A-level
There is a suite of module options set at this level, which can
be built up to form qualifications. The resulting Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice and
the Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law
and Practice are accredited by the Office of the Qualifications
and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual).
The Level 3 Professional Diploma in
Law and Practice forms the first academic stage in the process
of becoming a Chartered Legal Executive lawyer. You can study at
your own pace, but the qualification should take you around
two years to complete.

Once you have completed some or all of your Level 3
qualifications you will be able to apply to become an Affiliate or Associate member of CILEX.
