Which grade in the GHRs may be appropriate for CILEx members?

Once the first stage of academic training (Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice) has been completed, employers can charge fee earning time at the Grade D fee scale. Once you become a Chartered Legal Executive, employers can charge the relevant work carried out at Grade C.

Chartered Legal Executives with four years' PQE in litigation can charge their time at Grade B, and since 1 October 2014, Chartered Legal Executives with over eight years' PQE in litigation can charge their time at Grade A.
