Our man in Colombia
The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) prides itself on working with international organisations, not just for the provision of legal training and qualifications, but also in campaigns to ensure there is access to justice for all.
At the end of August our President, Nick Hanning, was part of a delegation of British lawyers visiting Colombia as part of Colombian Caravana. There charities such as Asociacion de Abogados Defensores Eduardo Umana Mendoza (ACADEUM) are fighting to stop the harassment and murder of hundreds of lawyers who help vulnerable people in the country.
