Hounslow Law Student Carries Off Major National Award

Legal eagle, Sylvia Nalule from Hounslow has carried off one of the coveted City & Guilds Medals for Excellence for her legal studies with the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX).

She was presented with her award at a glittering ceremony in London hosted by City & Guilds. The Medals for Excellence, part of prestigious City & Guilds Lion Awards programme recognises and rewards exceptional people whose work makes them really stand out from the crowd. Each year, around 100 people from over three quarters of a million eligible candidates are selected to be awarded a Medal for Excellence.

Sylvia who completed her studies for the ILEX Diploma for Legal Secretaries at Kingston College, Kingston-upon- Thames works as a legal secretary with Putney law firm, Capsticks Solicitors LLP.

Commenting on her win Sylvia said she was “honored to be presented with the award. It was very unexpected. I enjoyed every aspect of the ILEX course and strongly urge anyone considering a career in the field of law to take on an ILEX course. You will not regret your decision.”
