CILEX responds to CILEx Regulation announcement on alternative route to practice rights for Chartered Legal Executives

 Following the announcement that CILEx Regulation has appointed the University of Law to administer its alternative route to authorising Chartered Legal Executives who would like to apply for additional practice rights Linda Ford, CEO of CILEX, says:

“CILEX welcomes the opportunity for existing CILEX Fellows to obtain their additional practice rights through a top-up assessment route. 

CILEX hopes the pilot will allow CRL to ensure that the route is accessible to all Fellows with the requisite experience recognising the variety of practice environments our members work in, including those in part time or non-traditional legal roles.”
