CILEx launches National Awards to celebrate the best in the profession
23 April 2018
The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives launches its inaugural National Awards to celebrate the best and the brightest among its members.
The awards will recognise those who have promoted access to the profession, shown ‘visionary leadership’ and championed diversity and inclusion, among other categories (see the full list below).
The role of stakeholders who support CILEx and its members – particularly their employers – will also be acknowledged at the awards.
They will be presented on 6 September at Underglobe, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, hosted by well-known actress and comedian Sally Phillips.
CILEx President Millicent Grant says: “We are proud to support and represent a wealth of talented people and organisations and want to acknowledge those who are leading the way and whose work closely aligns to our mission, our vision and our values.
“The law is an ever-changing, forward-thinking sector and it is time for CILEx and its members to be loud and proud about the role we play in it. These awards will showcase what a vibrant part of the profession we represent.”
The National Awards form part of the ‘CILEx is changing’ project, which also includes a major overhaul of the organisation’s governance to ensure it is fit for the future.
The closing date for nominations is 31 May.
