24.08 PACE review: government proposals in response to the review of the police and criminal evidence act 1984

This consultation paper sets out proposals on police powers and procedures.

The consultation closes on 28 November 2008.

The aim of this review is to establish from police and those who work with them, as well as the public whether the act and the codes of practice are still appropriate, proportionate, and relevant to the criminal justice system.
