NICJAC Test Validators Required
The Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission (NIJAC) occasionally conducts multiple choice tests developed by experienced judges and tribunal Chairs to shortlist applicants for judicial vacancies across Northern Ireland.
The tests are designed to assess an applicant’s ability to absorb and analyse information quickly, identify issues and apply the law. They can also test an applicant’s independence of mind and judgement plus other qualities, skills and abilities required to serve in judicial office.
Tests are validated before being used in the selection process, therefore NIJAC request CILEx members to take part in this process as a Test Validator.
