We know you are excellent - now show everyone else

The closing date for The Law Society Excellence Awards 2012 is fast approaching and they are looking for their First Chartered Legal Executive of the year.

As fully qualified lawyers, fellows of CILEx can enter other appropriate categories in the awards but specifically they would like to invite CILEx members to nominate themselves or a colleague for what will be the first Chartered Legal Executive of the Year award.

BBC Broadcaster Mishal Husain will present the awards at a prestigious celebration dinner on October 18th at Old Billingsgate, London.

The Law Society Excellence Awards recognise and reward the most outstanding and dynamic practitioners in the legal profession and are open to individuals and teams across the entire legal sector, not just solicitors.

Diane Burleigh, CEO at CILEx, has already spoken about the importance of taking the time to enter awards like this; it is for the good of CILEx and your colleagues as a whole. You can read Diane’s thoughts on entering awards at the CILEx Lawyers blog.

Entries can be completed via the online nomination system. Nominations are open until Friday 17 August 2012.

Relevant award entries will also be considered for a special Social Mobility accolade, for the entry which most effectively promotes fair access to the profession for individuals from underprivileged backgrounds.
