The Chartered Institute celebrates the hard work and
dedication of its members
with our annual Medals.
Just four CILEx medals are awarded each year. Three were awarded
at the CILEx graduation ceremony today (29 April), attended by
Helen Grant MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of
State for Justice. Medals were presented to the CILEx
student who has achieved the highest exam marks in their year; the
employer who has shown exceptional support for CILEx members; and
the CILEx member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty
receives the President’s medal.

The CILEx Pro Bono Medal
Entries for The CILEx Pro Bono
Medal are still open. The medal is designed to
celebrate the excellence, outstanding achievement and dedication to
the profession that is central to our members. In particular, this
medal will highlight best practice, personal dedication and
contribution to Pro Bono and to the profession.
The winner rightly gains from recognition at the presentation
ceremony which will be held at our prestigious Presidential
Luncheon on 6 June 2013 at the Haberdashers Hall, London amongst
VIPs from across the legal sector, including the Lord Chief
Justice, Lord Judge. The winner will also be involved in the
